Born and raised in São Paulo, Raíssa has a Bachelors Degree in Audiovisual Production. In 2012, she started working as an assistant director, after graduating. As an AD, she has been part of a variety of projects, such as TV series, feature and short films, documentaries and commercials.
Since 2019, her focus has been on her work as a screenwriter and director. In 2020, Raíssa was selected for three pitching sessions in FRAPA (Porto Alegre’s Screenwriting Festival), where she presented a TV series project created by her. Since then, she has signed a partnership with a renowned production company in São Paulo and the project has been going through pitching processes with the main streaming players in Brazil.
In 2023, she completed the advanced screenwriting course at Roteiraria, while working as a shadow director for the TV series “Mundo Invisível dos Gamers”. That same year, Raíssa became an associate screenwriter at ABRA, the Brazilian association of writers, authors and screenwriters.
Currently, she is preparing to shoot her next short film. Parallel to that, Raíssa is in the process of writing her first feature film.
